Council Tax for 2010/11 is set
The level of Council Tax that Mansfield district residents will pay in 2010/11 has now been confirmed.
Compared to 2009/10 there will be an overall increase in bills of 0.86%, which is £9.18 more for people living in Band A properties. Band A properties account for the majority of households in the Mansfield district.

Mansfield District Council is responsible for collecting the Council Tax, which is distributed to all the public service providers working in the Mansfield district.
Every £100 of Council Tax you will pay in 2010/2011 will be divided as follows:
- Notts Fire Authority receives £4.33
- Notts Police Authority receives £9.96
- Mansfield District Council receives £11.49
- Notts County Council receives £74.22
Residents living in the Warsop area pay an additional precept for services provided by Warsop Parish Council.
