Winter wildlife wonderland

For a fun and free celebration of wildlife, suitable for all the family, head down to Oak Tree Leisure Centre on Saturday 6 December between 12noon and 3pm.

The University of Nottingham/Oak Tree SAFE's Winter Wildlife event takes place on Saturday 6 December at Oak Tree Leisure Centre

The University of Nottingham are holding a Winter Wildlife event in association with Oak Tree Safe. There will be lots of enjoyable activities on offer including:

Oak Tree's singing/story telling ranger will also be on hand to add more merriment to the occasion.

Refreshment will be provided. Please wear warm clothing and sensible footwear as some of the activities take place outdoors.

Councillor Eddie Smith, Portfolio Holder for the Environment at Mansfield District Council commented: "It is important for us all to appreciate the role that wildlife plays in the environment."
