Find out about professions from the past
To find out more about the weird and wonderful jobs carried out in history - then come along to Portland Hall Hotel on 27 November.
Starting at 7.30pm, local expert Denis Hill will give an informative, yet quirky talk on 'Old and Curious Occupations'.
The talk is suitable for all ages. Tickets cost £5 and include tea/coffee and biscuits. Other refreshments can be purchased from the Hotel bar.
All proceeds go to the Friends of Carr Bank Park for to help them carry out community outreach activities in the Green Flag award winning park.
