Calling all kids - tell us what you want on your park!
Children aged 4-12 are being invited to have their say on what play equipment they would like to see in a new park.
They are invited to come along to a meeting (with a parent or other appropriate adult) at Seaforth Park, off Rannoch Drive on the Grange Farm Estate on Tuesday 28 October 2008.
Members of Mansfield District Council's Parks and Open Spaces Team will be there to listen to all of the suggestions.
Councillor Eddie Smith, Portfolio Holder for the Environment, commented: "We value the input of all residents but when planning a new play area, who better to ask for their views than the children who are going to use it."
"I would urge any children to come along to this meeting, bring a parent along and let us have their views."
