Civic Centre Reception building works

There will be essential building works taking place in the central reception area of Mansfield District Council's Civic Centre from Monday 22 September for approximately three weeks.

Essential building work will be taking place at the Civic Centre's central reception from 22 September for approx. three weeks

During this time; visitors to the building, who would normally use the central reception, will be directed to the Housing reception situated to the right hand side of the central reception as you approach from the Chesterfield Road South entrance, where the reception service will be temporarily located.

Visitors requiring the housing reception should approach this as usual. The revenues and benefits paying-in kiosks in the Civic Centre reception will also be open as normal during this period.

This work is part of a wider programme to offer an improved range of services at the central reception in the Civic Centre.

Councillor Phil Smith, Mansfield District Council's Portfolio Holder for Corporate Issues, commented: "Mansfield District Council is committed to offering a high level of service to its users."

"We are attempting to minimise any potential disruption caused whilst these essential building works are taking place but we ask members of the public to bear with us during the time the work takes place."

During this period, general customer enquiries will be dealt with at the Housing Reception.
