Leon Lopez pulls out of Party in the Park
Former Brookside actor and Soapstar Superstar contestant, Leon Lopez, will not now be performing at this year's Party in the Park Event.
He has been forced to pull out at the last minute due to acting commitments.
Lisa Vincent, Town Centre Promotions and Events Co-ordinator, commented: "It is disappointing, especially at this late stage that Leon Lopez will not be joining us for party in the park but with Andy Abraham, Stonefoxx, Alana Estrella and a whole host of local acts there will be something to suit every age and musical taste."
"I am really excited about the event and hope that people come along to Titchfield Park and join in the fun."
The FREE event is held at Titchfield Park tomorrow (Saturday 2 August 2008) between 12noon and 9pm.
The headline act at the fun, family event is Eurovision contender and X Factor finalist Andy Abraham, all girl band Stonefoxx, who are currently supporting Shayne Ward on his arena tour and up-and-coming female artist Alana Estrella.
The Mansfield 103.2 roadshow will also be out and about keeping the crowd entertained in between the acts.
Castle Grove Gymnastics Club will be performing at 2.30pm and 3.30pm on the Meadow, with other activities in that area including: donkey rides, bouncy castle, circus skills workshop, live owl display and temporary tattoo stall ensuring that there is something on offer for all ages.
