Help at hand for your terrible tot or teen tearaway
Parents in Warsop are being given the chance to get some expert advice at a 'Supernanny Surgery' next Tuesday, 22nd July.
Mansfield's very own supernanny, Anne Callaghan will be running the surgery for parents as part of the Warsop Week of Action – a campaign by local councils, emergency services, charities, community groups and voluntary agencies to tackle crime and anti social behaviour.
The drop-in session is for parents whose children are causing them any kind of problem. Help can be provided on everything from children not going to bed on time or not eating their greens to serious drug, alcohol or anger issues.
Mansfield District Council's anti-social behaviour team will also be at the session to hear about anti-social behaviour hotspots in Warsop and give advice on anti-social behaviour issues.
The drop-in event is being held at the new Sure Start Centre, opposite Warsop Town Hall on Tuesday 22nd July from 10am to 3pm.
Warsop will be the focus of a 'week of action' from Monday 21st July to Sunday 27th July as local organisations spend seven days trying to make the area a cleaner and safer place for local people to live.
The week of action, entitled 'Take Pride in Warsop' is being organised by Mansfield Partnership Against Crime (MPAC).
Residents will see a big presence of local organisations during the week with activities happening every day. These range from home fire safety advice, removing graffiti and tackling anti-social behaviour to tidying up grot spots, specialist support for drug users and alcoholics, activities for young people and targeting offenders.
